Job description

We are looking for a passionate physiotherapist to join our dynamic Pursuit of Motion team! As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with musculoskeletal (MSK), temporomandibular disorder (TMD), pelvic health, pediatric, and vestibular needs. Our team includes experienced physiotherapists who offer mentorship in these specialized areas, providing an ideal environment for growth and development.

This position offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time options available, depending on what best suits the ideal candidate. The role can be based at either our North (Pursuit of Motion) or South (Pursuit of Performance) location, or a combination of both. Both clinics feature spacious, well-equipped gym areas designed for therapeutic and strength-based exercises, along with bright, open treatment spaces.

In addition to hands-on mentorship, we are committed to supporting your professional growth with opportunities for business development and career advancement. Join us and be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and fostering long-term success!

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions through observation, testing, and patient history. Design tailored treatment plans that target specific issues such as pain, mobility restrictions, or recovery after injury or surgery.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, education, and manual therapy in treatment programs: Guide patients through various therapeutic exercises aimed at improving strength, flexibility, and overall function. Provide education on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-management techniques. Use manual therapy techniques, like joint mobilizations or soft tissue manipulation, to alleviate pain and improve movement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in our clinic (massage & psychology): Work closely with massage therapists to combine physical therapy with soft tissue techniques for enhanced recovery. Collaborate with psychologists to address the psychological aspects of recovery, such as motivation, stress, and coping with chronic pain.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress through the Jane app: Ensure patient records are thorough, up-to-date, and accurate, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any modifications. Use the Jane app to track patient progress, schedule follow-ups, and manage treatment plans effectively and efficiently.
