About This Opportunity

If you are an energetic, enthusiastic Kinesiologist seeking growth, CBI Health offers an excellent opportunity to meet your career goals within one of Canada’s largest healthcare networks.

Our Edmonton Burnewood Clinic seeks a full-time Registered Kinesiologist to join our interdisciplinary team. This role involves using your exercise therapy skills to achieve clinical outcomes, engage clients, and assist them in returning to work and daily activities at all rehabilitation stages.

Daily Responsibilities

  1. Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), LTD, WCB, and private clients in a gym setting.
  2. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on treatment planning, progression, and management.
  3. Design and implement therapeutic exercise programs tailored to client needs.
  4. Conduct employer assessments such as Physical Demands Analysis (PDA), Post Offer Employment Testing (POET), and Functional Abilities Evaluation (FAE) to assess job capability.
  5. Prepare progress and discharge reports as delegated by the treating clinician.
  6. Assist in return to work planning with the clinician.
  7. Maintain a safe, organized, and presentable gym environment.

Qualifications for Success

  1. Degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
  2. Active membership or eligibility with the Alberta Kinesiology Association (AKA).
  3. Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to work independently.
  4. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  6. Empathy and rapport-building skills with patients.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exceeding client goals.
