Job description

Lead the Growth of Transformational Philanthropy

At the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC), we believe that defeating blood cancers takes more than skill – it takes the right mindset.

Our fundraising team (Mission Fuel) is:
  • Hungry– We relentlessly pursue growth, build meaningful relationships, and go above and beyond to connect people to our mission.
  • Humble– We put the mission first, embrace collaboration, and learn from every challenge.
  • Smart– We lead with strategy, adapt with agility, and stay focused on long-term impact.

Together, we persevere, innovate, and never give up – because lives depend on it.

LLSC is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven fundraising leader to grow philanthropic support and expand our impact within the community. The Philanthropy Director will engage and inspire donors, volunteers, community champions, foundations, and corporate partners while developing strategies that strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in building networks, creating new opportunities for support, and connecting individuals and organizations to LLSC's mission in meaningful ways. If you are passionate about building relationships, engaging communities, and helping create a lasting impact for people affected by blood cancers, we would love to hear from you.

About LLSC

At the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, we are committed to improving the lives of Canadians affected by blood cancers through research, advocacy, support services and community engagement. Working collaboratively across LLSC and within the community, the Philanthropy Director will identify and leverage opportunities such as sponsorships, matching gifts, strategic partnerships, and donor engagement initiatives to enhance impact and support long-term growth.
