Job summary

MemberRx is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to support general dispensing and the technical aspects of dispensing for new and refill prescriptions in Mississauga, ON. You will fill, process, and check prescriptions while coordinating patient deliveries and ensuring high-quality customer service.

The role requires registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, a CCAP-accredited diploma, and 2+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a pharmacy technician.
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technician from a CCAP-accredited program.
• Minimum two years of practice as a licensed pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Ensure technical accuracy of drugs dispensed.
• Validate that dispensed drugs match prescriber orders.
• Coordinate with patient support programs for reimbursements.
• Direct support staff and manage dispensing schedules.
• Assist management in training staff and maintaining documentation.
• Support timely medication delivery to patients.
• Triage communications by phone or email to the appropriate team member.
