Job summary

MediSystem Pharmacy in Mississauga is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) to join our pharmacy team full-time. You will ensure accuracy of prepared medications, manage narcotic and controlled substances, maintain patient privacy, and support high-volume filling in a busy retail pharmacy.

The role requires at least 1 year of pharmacy experience, bilingual English/French is an asset, and registration in good standing with the College of Pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT).
• Liability insurance to legally practice as a RPhT.
• At least 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of prepared medication by checking prescriptions for legal compliance and product quality.
• Count and reconcile narcotic and controlled medications.
• Maintain organized workflow so deliveries depart on schedule.
• Protect patient privacy and confidentiality per regulations.
• Stay current with legal requirements and workplace policies.
