Job summary

University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Pharmacy Services Inpatient Operations Team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. You will handle prescription preparation, compounding and dispensing per master worksheets, and maintain accurate patient information in the pharmacy system.

The role is a 37.5-hour week, temp full-time for 12 months, with shifts Mon-Fri including days/evenings/weekends/holidays/on-call.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program at an accredited college or recognized equivalent required.
• Registration as a Pharmacy Technician (Part A) in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Two years practical and related experience preferred.
• Previous hospital experience with unit dose system and intravenous admixture service, preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary
