Job summary

Walmart Canada in St. Catharines, ON is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacist with prescription filling and administrative tasks, enabling the Pharmacist to focus more on patient care.

You will participate in all pharmacy operations as a team member, performing data entry, inventory management, and OTC duties under pharmacist supervision, while maintaining a clean and organized dispensary environment.

Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions from patients and assessing completeness per regulatory guidelines.
• Performing data entry, price checks, and patient information updates under the Pharmacist’s supervision.
• Filling prescriptions by selecting products, labeling, and preparing orders for pharmacist checking.
• Maintaining inventory control, stocking, organizing shelves, and pulling expired medications monthly.
• Clerical tasks such as filing prescriptions, invoices, and reports, and assisting with OTC operations and cashier duties.
