Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions from patients, following provincial regulatory conditions and assessing prescription completeness.
• Performing computer functions as directed by the Pharmacist, including data entry, price checks, and patient profile updates.
• Filling prescriptions under the Pharmacist's supervision, selecting products, counting and labeling, and obtaining verbal refill approvals when allowed.
• Maintaining inventory control, stocking drugs, checking for expired meds, and organizing shelves and returns.
• General housekeeping: keeping the dispensary clean and safe, stocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
• Clerical organization: filing prescriptions, invoices, reports, and other admin tasks.
• Assisting with OTC operations and cashier duties as assigned by OTC Manager or Pharmacist.
