Job summary

Walmart in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacist with prescription filling and administrative duties, helping free the Pharmacist to focus on patient care.

You will engage in receiving prescriptions, data entry, inventory maintenance, OTC tasks, and clerical work, contributing to accurate dispensing and efficient pharmacy operations at the Regent Ave W location.

Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions from patients, following provincial regulations and verifying completeness.
• Performing computer functions: data entry, price check, patient information updates.
• Filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, performing accuracy and labeling checks.
• Maintaining inventory, pulling expired medications, ordering drugs and supplies, stocking shelves.
• clerical organization: filing prescriptions, invoices, reports, and other admin tasks.
• Assisting with OTC operations, ordering, stocking, and cashier duties as needed.
