Walmart Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the Pharmacist with prescription filling, data entry, and customer service. You will participate in all Pharmacy Operations and maintain inventory and clerical tasks to ensure efficient service.

The role emphasizes accuracy checks, labeling, and collaboration with the pharmacist to enhance patient care and store operations. The pay range is competitive for Alberta and reflective of experience.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older; legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsabilités

• Receive prescriptions from patients and verify completeness and regulatory compliance.
• Enter data, price check, and maintain patient profiles in the pharmacy system.
• Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision; perform accuracy checks and labeling.
• Maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and pull expired medications monthly.
• Handle Will Call bin clean-up, returns, and ordering of drugs and supplies.
• Perform clerical tasks: filing prescriptions, invoices, and reports.
• Assist OTC operations and cashier duties as assigned by OTC Manager.
