About the Job

We are looking for a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team in the Niagara Region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately dispense medications and review prescriptions for appropriateness.
  • Provide professional counseling to patients on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
  • Provision of Professional Services (medschecks, POs) and Expanded Scope
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Support pharmacy operations, including customer service and administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a community pharmacy setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with pharmacy management software is an asset.
