You will provide friendly customer service, gather prescription details, and assist the pharmacist with data entry, third-party billing, and adherence to Pharmacy Standards of Practice. This is a on-site role at a local Shoppers Drug Mart store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Pharmacy Assistant certificate preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and gather prescription information according to Standards.
• Assist pharmacist with dispensing and prescription processing per SOPs.
• Adjudicate third party billing and manage related paperwork.
• Data entry for new prescriptions and processing refill requests.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy requirements; support pharmacy operations.
