Job summary

Lawtons is seeking friendly, knowledgeable pharmacy staff to join our team in Canada. You’ll be part of a pharmacy team that delivers patient-centered care and strives to meet the health needs of our patients.

You will handle prescription assembly and data entry, process transactions, receive refill requests, promote Profile programs, perform compounding and pill-pack assembly, manage supplies, and support other pharmacy operations while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute.
• Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards.

Responsibilities

• Prescription assembly – data entry
• Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
• Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
• Promote Profile programs
• Compounding
• Pill Pack Assembly
• Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies, cleaning
• Drug order creation and receiving
• Schedule professional clinical services (i.e. medication reviews, health risk assessments, disease state managements etc.)
• BTC management
• Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, TML’s, manual third parties
• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
• Assist with other pharmacy operations as required
