Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant for Pharmasave #206 in Surrey, British Columbia. Qualifications

• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided for pharmacy experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team-oriented.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes occasionally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
• Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
• Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
