Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd in Canada is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in delivering patient care. You will be part of a team focused on health and wellness, serving the local Milton community as part of Rexall's care network.

In this role you will assist with prescription preparation, packaging, labeling, and inputting information into the pharmacy computer system, while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentation such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This role fills an existing vacancy on the team.

What You Will Be Doing
