Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Ontario operations.

This role supports the pharmacist with prescription preparation, packaging, and distribution, and involves inputting prescription data, handling documentation, and inventory management. The successful candidate will work to ensure accuracy in the pharmacy system, assist with cashier duties when needed, and contribute to a connected, community-focused Rexall Care Network.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This is role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.

What You Will Be Doing
