Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd. is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Saskatoon. You will support the Pharmacist with prescription preparation, packaging and distribution, while ensuring patient information is up to date in the pharmacy system.

Responsibilities include inputting prescriptions, handling third party management, maintaining inventory and assisting with cashier duties as needed. This role helps fill an existing vacancy on the team and contributes to community health

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This role fills an existing vacancy on the team

What You Will Be Doing
