Job summary

Rexall is a community-focused health retailer seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions, while maintaining accurate patient records at our Vaughan location.

You will handle label creation, third-party processing, inventory checks, and occasional cashier duties, contributing to a friendly, efficient patient experience. This role is a current vacancy on a collaborative team that values service and community care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions.
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.
