Job summary

Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd in Alberta is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions, and to help serve the community with care.

You will input and interpret prescriptions, manage labels and consent forms in the pharmacy computer system, monitor inventory, assist with cashier duties, and participate as a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging, and distribution of patient prescriptions
• Evaluate legality, interpret and input all prescriptions, labels and consent forms to ensure patient information is up to date and in the pharmacy’s computer system
• Complete documentations such as third party management and reconciliation, filling prescriptions, printing, invoices, etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify approaching and critical expiry dates
• Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required
• This is role is filling an existing vacancy on the team.

What You Will Be Doing
