Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant for Remedy's Rx in Espanola, Ontario. You will support pharmacists and technicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy community setting.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, entering and labeling prescriptions under supervision, stocking inventory, and maintaining an organized, compliant work area. Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, may be required.

Qualificações

• Pharmacy assistant program completion preferred.
• Experience in a pharmacy is an asset; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work in a team.
• Organized and detail-oriented; capable to handle tasks efficiently.
• Basic computer proficiency and pharmacy software familiarity.
• Able to stand long periods and lift boxes occasionally.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Remedy's Rx in Espanola, Ontario.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
• Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
• Assist with entering, labeling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
• Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
• Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
• Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
• Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is preferred
• Previous experience within a pharmacy is an asset (on-the-job training will be provided)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kroll pharmacy software
• Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
