Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Coquitlam, BC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Sunwood location. You will support pharmacists by inputting prescriptions, processing refills, and helping with stock and merchandising in a fast-paced community pharmacy.

We value a strong work ethic, great communication and customer service, and the ability to work accurately in a busy dispensary. Training is provided; benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and a "let's get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
