Save-On-Foods in Kamloops, BC is hiring an Assistant Pharmacy Manager to oversee day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations and clinical responsibilities. Responsibilities include drug use evaluation, medication reviews, injections, counseling, compounding, and collaboration with healthcare partners.

The role supports inventory management, team scheduling, and development of growth strategies while enforcing policies and best practices in pharmacy distribution.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body.
• Injection Certification.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day pharmacy dispensary operations including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
• Clinical responsibilities such as drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, and counseling.
• Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing ingredients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners.
• Inventory management and team scheduling, training and supervision.
• Identifying and mapping business strengths and patient needs; developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Enforcing policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
