Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Western Canada is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our community-focused team in Abbotsford. You will dispense, vaccinate, manage inventory, and provide clinical services with a patient-centred approach.

Requirements include a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, injection certification, and experience with pharmacy software (Kroll preferred). We offer comprehensive benefits, a company pension, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing with the College.
• Injection certification is required.
• Experience with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maximize clinical opportunities and maintain inventory.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.
• Stay current on medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offer private patient consultations and maintain patient-centred care.

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

• $56.00 - $59.00
• The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
