Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Western Canada seeks a Relief Pharmacist to support stores in the Lower Mainland. You will dispense medications, administer vaccinations, and provide patient-centered care across communities.

The role requires a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, injection certification, and experience with pharmacy software (preferably Kroll). You must be able to travel regionally and work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing.
• Injection certification required.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with OAT and required training.
• Ability to travel regionally for 1–2 weeks at a time.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Additional trainings or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, dispensing, vaccinations, and clinical opportunities.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remain current on latest trends and medications in the industry.
• Offer private consultations with patients and maintain patient-centred care.
• Provide clinical services including medication management and health screening.

We are hiring for a Relief Pharmacist to support our stores in the Lower Mainland.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
• The ability to travel frequently through-out the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $60.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
