Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Duncan, BC is seeking a Pharmacist to join our community-focused pharmacy team. You will dispense medications, administer vaccines, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations.

You will also provide private consultations and contribute to health screenings and medication management. The successful candidate holds a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, possesses injection certification, and has experience with OAT and pharmacy software

Qualifications

• Must hold a Canadian Pharmacist licence and be in good standing.
• Injection certification required.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and related training.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Ability to apply clinical knowledge to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Stay current with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offer private consultations and provide patient-centred care.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our location in Duncan, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$60.00 - $63.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
