Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations, provide consultations to customers and health care providers, and dispense medications while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on privacy, accuracy, and collaborative care with other health professionals. The successful candidate will perform to the full scope of professional services, maintain dispensing accuracy, and uphold standards of practice and documentation.

• Strong problem-solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans.
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems a definite asset.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment.
• Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions and OTC products.
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate with health care professionals within the circle of care.
• Maintain records in accordance with legislation and standards.
• Oversee workflow and inventory management in the dispensary.
• Ensure compliance with Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and regulations.
