Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to manage daily pharmacy operations, provide patient consultations, and ensure full scope in professional services. You will dispense medications, collaborate with health care providers, and maintain dispensary standards.

• Plan, coordinate and delegate assignments and provide coaching to Pharmacy colleagues

• Strong problem-solving skills including experience formulating and executing action plans
• Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of Pharmacy systems a definite asset
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed to provide a healthy and safe work environment
• Complete mandatory training and voluntary continuing education workshops, as needed

Responsibilities

• Pharmacy and Customer Service: Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy; provide counselling on prescriptions and products; ensure privacy and confidentiality; communicate with health care professionals as needed; maintain records; ensure accuracy of prescriptions
• Workflow And Inventory Management: Control access to dispensary; review/will call queues; manage stock and expired inventory; oversee orders from wholesaler; ensure documentation for controlled substances
• Operations: Maintain clean, professional pharmacy environment; engage with store communications; file incident reports as needed
