Job summary

Pet Valu in Edmonton is seeking a dependable Keyholder to support store operations, assist customers, manage cash register, and help maintain merchandise. You will help open and close the store and ensure safety and cleanliness.

You must have at least 2 years in retail, be comfortable with lifting 50 lbs, and be able to work evenings and weekends. A reliable commute and a friendly, service-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash transactions.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform stock/maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and customer sales.
• Preparing merchandise orders, banking and other paperwork.
• Stocking small items into sales floor stock.
• Store maintenance: sweeping and dusting.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and stocking items up to 50 lbs.
• Open and close the store following procedures.
• Assign daily goals when management is absent.
• Other duties as required.
