Job summary

Pet Valu is seeking a Keyholder to support store operations and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist customers, manage cashier duties, and help maintain stock and store standards.

The role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, comfort with POS systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A flexible schedule and reliable transportation are expected commitments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in retail or customer service.
• Strong knowledge of POS system.
• Outgoing, friendly personality with solid customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the store; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cashier and drive customer sales.
• Prepare merchandise orders, banking and related paperwork.
• Stock and stockroom duties for pet supplies and household items (up to 50 lbs).
• General store maintenance (cleaning, sweeping, dusting).
• Open/close responsibilities and daily goal setting when managers are absent.
• Other duties as required by store leadership.
