Job summary

SE Health in Hamilton is hiring Part Time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for community care in Hamilton and surrounding areas. The role includes assisting clients with daily living tasks, mobility and personal care, with travel between sites.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver's license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work11:00pm-7:00am every other Saturday and Sunday
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
