Job summary

SE Health is hiring Part Time Day and/or Evening Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care across Canada. We cover mileage and travel time, offer great benefits, and support your goals.

A valid PSW certificate is required (RN/RPN, nursing student with clinical placements, Developmental Support Worker Diploma, or foreign-trained nurse). You must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift up to 55 pounds, with days or evenings and every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Valid PSW certificate required.
• RN/RPN credentials accepted.
• Nursing student with two clinical placements completed.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma required or equivalent.
• Foreign-trained healthcare professional (Nurse) considered.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus.
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid.
• Availability to workdays OR eveningsand every other weekend.
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
