Job summary

SE Health is hiring a Part-time Evening Personal Support Worker (PSW) in London, Ontario, to provide compassionate in-home care across city areas and surrounding communities. The role includes mileage coverage and travel time, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus and strong benefits.

Candidates must hold a PSW certificate, or be an RN/RPN or nursing student with clinical placements. Other accepted credentials include Developmental Support Worker Diploma and foreign-trained nurse qualifications.

• Developmental Support Worker Diploma or equivalent.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse credential recognized.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support to clients in the evenings and on weekends.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed.
• Collaborate with care team to deliver high-quality home care in London and surrounding areas.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workevenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
