As a PSW you will provide personal care, assist with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and safe transfers. Travel within community settings may be required; evenings and weekends can be part of the schedule. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• PSW certification or diploma is required.
• First Aid and CPR Level C are required.
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 1 year.
• Tuberculosis test and immunizations up to date are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients.
• Assist with ADLs including meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, and related tasks.
• Help clients safely ambulate and transfer.
• Perform delegated tasks as required.
• Promote client independence and provide emotional support.
• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and stakeholders.
• Maintain a safe environment for clients and workers.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW certification or diploma is a must.
• First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
• 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations ( up to date)
• Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Access to reliable Vehicle in community home care is required
• Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Healthcare Staff and clients
• Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team environment
• Interest in continuous learning - high energy and focused

Responsibilities

Work Conditions

Pay rate: Starting at $20.95 per hour
