Bloom Care Solutions Inc. is seeking a compassionate PSW to provide personal care and support to clients within the community or facilities in the Peel Region.

The role emphasizes maintaining independence, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring safety during transfers and mobility. Ideal candidates will hold a PSW certification/diploma, current First Aid and CPR Level C, and a clear background check.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW certification or diploma is a must.
• First Aid and CPR Level C certificate.
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 1 year.
• TB test and immunizations up to date.

Responsabilités

• Provides personal care to clients with compassion and integrity.
• Assists with ADLs including meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry and more.
• Aids clients in safe ambulation and transfers.
• Performs delegated tasks and promotes client independence.
• Provides psychological support and clear communication to clients, families, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW certification or diploma is a must.
• First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
• 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations ( up to date)
• Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Access to reliable Vehicle in community home care is required
• Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Healthcare Staff and clients
• Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team environment
• Interest in continuous learning - high energy and focused

Responsibilities

• Assist client in safely ambulating and transferring
• Perform delegated tasks as required

• Provide clear, timely communication to the client, family and any stakeholders
• Promotes a safe environment for both the client and worker

Work Conditions

• Work requires travel within community or facility
• May involve long hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet organizational needs.

• Standing for extended periods involved
• Lifting, pushing, turning involved
• May repeat the same movement

Pay Rate: Starting at $20.95 per hour
