Job summary

Bloom Care Solutions Inc. is seeking a compassionate PSW to provide personal care and support to clients in the community. You will assist with activities of daily living, meal prep, light housekeeping and safe transfers, while maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards.

Travel within the community is required, with flexible hours to fit your schedule. This role offers ongoing training, a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth in a growing digital health

Qualifications

• PSW certification or diploma is required.
• First Aid and CPR Level C are required.
• Criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening within 1 year.
• TB test and immunizations up to date are required.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to travel within the community.
• Strong time management, confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent communicator and able to foster relationships with healthcare staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to clients with compassion and integrity.
• Supports clients with ADLs including meal prep, light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assists with safely ambulating and transferring clients.
• Performs delegated tasks as required and promotes client independence.
• Provides psychological and emotional support to clients.
• Communicates clearly and promptly with clients, families and stakeholders.
• Maintains a safe environment for clients and workers.
• Travels within the community as needed to provide care.
• Upholds organizational standards and quality care at all times.

• First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
• 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations ( up to date)

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: Starting at $20.95 per hour
