Job summary

Bloom Care Solutions Inc. is seeking caregivers to provide compassionate personal care and support with activities of daily living in the Vaughan area. Travel within the community or facilities is required, with flexibility for evenings and weekends to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, light housekeeping, support for transfers, and promoting client independence. The role emphasizes high-quality care, confidentiality, and clear communication with families

Qualifications

• PSW certification or diploma is required.
• First Aid and CPR (Level C) certificate required.
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 1 year.
• TB Test and Immunizations up to date.
• Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent communicator with healthcare staff and clients.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in continuous learning, high energy and focus.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care to the client.
• Supports client to perform ADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more.
• Assists client in safely ambulating and transferring.
• Performs delegated tasks as required.
• Promotes client independence.
• Provides psychological and emotional support.
• Maintains clear, timely communication with client, family and stakeholders.
• Ensures a safe environment for client and worker.
