Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a completed PSW certification or diploma.
• First Aid and CPR level C Certificate is required.
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening must be completed within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to the client.
• Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Assist clients in safely ambulating and transferring.
• Provide psychological and emotional support.

Qualifications

• Completed a PSW certification or diploma is a must.
• First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
• 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations (up to date)
• Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Access to reliable Vehicle in community home care is required
• Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Healthcare Staff and clients
• Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team environment
• Interest in continuous learning - high energy and focused

Responsibilities

• Support client to perform ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) including meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more
• Assist client in safely ambulating and transferring
• Perform delegated tasks as required

• Promotes a safe environment for both the client and worker

Work Conditions
