Job summary

Bloom Care Solutions is hiring PSW caregivers in Ontario to provide compassionate personal care and support to clients in community settings. The role involves assisting with ADLs, mobility, and daily tasks while ensuring safety and dignity for clients.

You will work in a dynamic team, travel within the community, and adapt to flexible hours, including evenings or weekends to meet client needs. Training and development are offered to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

• PSW certification or diploma is required.
• First Aid and CPR Level C certification required.
• Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 1 year.
• TB test and immunizations up to date.
• Strong time management, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Excellent communicator with healthcare staff and clients.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Interest in continuous learning with high energy.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality personal care to clients.
• Assist with ADLs including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Help client ambulate safely and transfer as needed.
• Perform delegated tasks as required.
• Promote client independence and well-being.
• Provide psychological and emotional support.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with client, family and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for client and worker.

• 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations ( up to date)

Responsibilities:
