SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Port Colborne and surrounding areas. The role supports clients in their homes during evening shifts, with mileage and travel time covered by the employer. A compassionate team and growth opportunities are emphasized.

Qualified candidates may hold a PSW certificate, RN or RPN credentials, or be nursing students with clinical placements. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required for daily work.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
