Job summary

SE Health is hiring part-time Personal Support Workers (PSW) to provide community care in Belle River and surrounding areas. A $500 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are offered, with mileage and travel time covered between clients.

The role requires a valid PSW certificate or nursing qualifications and a valid driver’s license. We emphasize growth, mentorship, and flexible scheduling to support personal well-being and career goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for daily work.
• Valid immunization requirements: MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid.
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate
• Availability to work evenings and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support and home care to clients in Belle River and surrounding areas.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility as required.
• Drive between clients with mileage covered by SE Health.
• Maintain client well‑being and safety while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required

• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
