Job summary

SE Health is hiring part-time Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for community care in the Brighton and Belleville areas. The role offers mileage reimbursement, travel time coverage, a mobile device, and uniforms provided.

Competitive compensation aligns with experience and regional norms. Qualifying candidates include PSW certificate holders, RN/RPNs, nursing students with two clinical placements, or Developmental Support Worker credentials.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required.
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus and Covid
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• Physically demanding role requiring lifting up to ~55 pounds and other physical tasks

Education

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:
