We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a mother living in Brampton with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. She is largely independent and does not wander, but requires supervision for safety and assistance with daily tasks. She speaks English but is most comfortable communicating in Tagalog. The family is Filipino and values cultural connection and understanding. The home environment is supportive, with family members involved in her care, though they need consistent professional support to ensure her wellbeing.

This is a live-in position requiring overnight care, ideally 5-7 days per week. The family is flexible and can accommodate one day off per week to ensure caregiver wellbeing and longevity in the role. This is initially a month-to-month arrangement as the family assesses long-term care needs, with potential to transition into a permanent long-term position in the new year.
