Utter Morris Insurance Brokers in Mississauga seeks a full-time Personal Lines Insurance Broker to look after day-to-day client needs and grow the book of business. You will quote, renew, and service policies while advocating for clients with insurance carriers.

You should be skilled at building relationships, communicating clearly, and managing multiple accounts with accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Active RIBO license required.
• Previous personal lines brokerage experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Knowledge of personal lines products and basic underwriting.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive problem solving and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Experience with Applied EPIC is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal lines clients with responsive service.
• Prepare quotes and handle new business, renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
• Review client information and underwriting documentation for accuracy.
• Assess client risks and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Work with carriers and advocate for clients as needed.
• Identify opportunities for additional coverage and cross-sell.
• Remarket accounts to ensure competitive coverage and pricing.
• Support claims reporting and guide clients through the process.
• Keep accounts organized and up-to-date in systems.
