Job summary

TD Canada Trust is hiring a Personal Banker Trainee to help customers achieve their financial goals by offering knowledgeable advice and a range of investment and credit solutions. You will engage customers, ask insightful questions, and deliver service that strengthens relationships across TD’s branch network.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with optional post-secondary education. IFIC certification is required and CFSA must be completed within 12 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree in related field is an asset.
• Completion of IFIC or equivalent required.
• CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.
• Real estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on high-level financial solutions from a range of investment and banking products.
• Engage with customers by asking thoughtful questions to create positive experiences.
• Provide personalized financial advice to help customers achieve goals and deepen relationships.
• Act as a point of contact for frontline staff to handle customer issues.
• Maintain professional space and adhere to marketing and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to team efforts and stay informed about evolving regulations and industry codes of conduct.
