The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Personal Auto Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Effectively managing assigned territory, working towards sales goals and establishing self-directed sales coverage with manager's assistance
  • Demonstrating and training internal and external customers on Aftermarket Auto product knowledge, applications, systems and procedures
  • Representing our products to Distributors, Personal Auto focused shops, Auto Dealerships and Brand Owners
  • Exhibiting guidance with accounts, prospects and peers through acceptance of both direction and leadership as appropriate
  • Represent 3M at various trade shows (such as SEMA)

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise / Vos compétences et votre expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree in a technical field (minimum 4-year degree) or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years’ sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Distribution channel and/or direct sales experience in the Personal Auto Market
  • Good presentation skills; comfortable presenting to large groups
  • Excellent computer skills, MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word; SalesForce
  • Ability to travel at least 25% with some overnights and weekends as necessary
