Job description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

Position: Experienced and motivated personal assistant required for General Manager & Clinical Service Manager. The duties will include:

  1. Manage and maintain GM & CSM diaries.
  2. Attend and minute action points at a substantial number of meetings within OPSS & sometimes external partners.
  3. Offer availability to appoint meetings and coordinate, reserving meeting accommodation as required.
  4. Maintain SSTS for Management roster.
  5. Maintain accurate records of complaints for service & attend weekly meetings.
  6. Follow up Action Plans once generated on the issue of Final Responses to ensure these are captured for record purposes.
  7. Generate invites to Study sessions for Stroke Education & capture nominations for Register.
  8. Maintain accurate distribution lists for all contact meeting groups.
  9. Cover for PA colleagues on leave.
  10. Assist with Consultants’ On Call rota amendments & uploading to Rotawatch when required.
  11. Any other duties as instructed by GM / CSM.
