Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Performance Test Analyst. This role is integral to ensuring system reliability, optimization, and effective delivery within a financial services environment. If you have a strong technical background and a talent for troubleshooting and performance engineering, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

• Drive "shift left" initiatives and manage desktop release management projects.
• Develop and execute automation scripts, analyze results, and report findings.
• Conduct performance testing and engineering to optimize system capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and identify performance issues, including application upgrades and patching.
• Gather performance engineering (PE) requirements and manage client expectations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have) :

• Strong SQL skills, including query optimization, joins, and connecting to report servers.
• Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard development with various data sources.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Performance, including troubleshooting and application patching / upgrades.
• Experience working in Agile environments and active participation in scrum calls.
• Team leadership experience, including managing sprints and deliverables.

Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have) :

• Experience with PowerShell scripting for capturing and analyzing performance data.
• Knowledge of automation scripting development using Python, AutoIt, or C#.
• Proficiency in continuous integration tools and source code management tools is a plus.
