Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking an Operation Specialist in the Performance Measurement group to analyze client portfolio performance and ensure accurate reporting across multiple RBC systems. The role serves as a central point of contact for business partners on performance-related inquiries.

You will collaborate with the Performance Measurement, Pricing group and IT/Business partners, supporting month-end/quarter-end cycles, and driving data integrity and SLAs across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and strong communication skills to research and resolve performance related matters.
• - Knowledge of performance measurement standards including GIPS, especially time-weighted vs money-weighted returns.
• - Familiarity with RBC Wealth Management systems (Broadridge, ServiceLink, ClientSource, ClientLink, FMC, PACER, PERSYS).
• - Ability to partner with Front Office and multiple teams to deliver timely, accurate performance reporting.
• - Strong data interpretation and presentation abilities for stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and understand client accounts and portfolio returns.
• Analyze fluctuations in market value, gains/losses, and rate of return at the security level.
• Work independently and in group to meet deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Support month-end and quarter-end workloads with accurate reporting.
• Provide superior service around clients' portfolio performance and performance attribution.
• Research transactions across RBC portfolio systems to resolve issues for internal and external clients.
• Guide DS branches and IC offices on operational policies and regulatory framework.
• Monitor and improve Service Level Agreement performance.
• Collaborate with SMEs, PMs, and IT/business partners to implement solutions.
