Perceived Quality Assessor - Intermediate - PSP

Job Summary:

Our client in Windsor, ON is looking for a Perceived Quality Assessor - Intermediate - PSP. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

Perceived Quality is a customer’s initial response of good or poor quality of a product, influenced by the vehicle's attributes and customer importance. The PQ process begins with benchmarking competitive vehicles to identify attributes impacting the customer’s initial impression. The Perceived Quality (PQ) Team reviews and evaluates digital images and physical properties at each major milestone of a vehicle program. Based on a structured rating method, assessors compile and present a complete assessment report to guide decisions early on in the development timeline of current and future model programs.

• Lead segment-specific programs by working closely with the Prod Engineering, Vehicle Line Quality Responsible, Vehicle Integration Responsible, Product Design Office, and the Product Teams to set PQ Targets, provide guidance on achieving the target, and provide PQ status for the program to the Model Responsible and full team.
• Perform virtual assessments on new and modified programs using corporate CAD system - Teamcenter / NX / VisMockup.
• Drive issue resolution with escalation process.
• Create GIMS as required.
• Support digital and physical assessments.
• Capture all non-competitive PQ issues into PQAS (Perceived Quality Assessment System).
• Attend working level meetings and drive PQ input.
• Review issues with product engineering and management teams.

Basics:

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess an interest in cars, trends, and technology.
• The ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency to deliver outputs in a short period of time.

Preferred:

• Experience in Manufacturing, Tooling, Design, Release, or Program Management.
• Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting, including managing multiple projects, determining project urgency, creating detailed action plans, and organizing schedules, people, and tasks.
• Outstanding teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to build solid working relationships internally and externally.
• Must be a high-energy, proactive hands-on individual with strength of convictions - a self-confident leader who effectively sells ideas and solutions to others.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter and NX/VisMockup.
