Description :

The Program Manager - Electric Drive Systems Components will be responsible for the execution of Electric Drive System programs for specific components. The Program Manager leads cross-functional teams, ensures all deliverables and targets are met throughout the product development lifecycle (timing, cost, performance, quality, etc.), and acts as the primary contact for Product Team members within the scope of work. The role reports directly to the Global Chief Engineer / Assistant Chief Engineer and has a matrixed reporting relationship to the Platform Family Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Managing all aspects of the assigned program to achieve cost, timing, quality, and performance goals.
• Coordinating cross-functional Family teams involved in achieving program targets.
• Ensuring program budget achievement by identifying efficiencies against the approved business case.
• Applying procedures, best practices, and methodologies per required standards; leading program documentation creation, monitoring, and updates in line with Global Powertrain (Propulsion Systems) Development Process.
• Ensuring product readiness for launches, defining appropriate timing milestones, and leading change review meetings.
• Reporting on program status, risks, and issues.
• Identifying program requirements and assembling cross-departmental data to support decision-making to meet objectives; co-leading proactive risk management tasks with QM and Platform teams.
• Supporting technical reviews and evaluations related to program milestones.
• Supporting Global Purchasing and Manufacturing strategies.
• Leading responses to investigate and act on product/process change bulletins.
• Implementing value optimization and quality improvement activities.
• Managing the product lifecycle, including supporting supply chain and logistics to ensure production continuity.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant experience, including program management experience.
• Strong skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to build credibility, establish rapport, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including external contacts.
• Proficiency in various applications, software methodologies, and experience in system lifecycle management.
• Willingness to travel to the US for occasional meetings/trainings (1-2 times per month).

Additional Details :

Hybrid : 3 days a week at ARDC. Candidates should reside in the Windsor area.
